The common family room for guests features multiple seating areas, a fireplace, and plenty of light. Cozy up with the family every evening in our spacious family room. There is also a shared kitchen and dining area. David will provide a self-serve continental breakfast each morning for guests.
The Wildernest is in a great area to see and do all kinds of things year-round. We are close to the Lowell Observatory, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Lava Caves, and not to mention endless biking and hiking trails. Whether you want to go fishing, hunting, or skiing, there’s always something fun to do. Not sure what to do? Your host, David, can inform you of the best activities.

Yes. We are popular with guests booking family stays. Children of all ages are welcome. above are considered adults at this property. Additional children with 2 parents are $/10/night. An extra mattress is available.
Yes, a damage deposit of USD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full, in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
This is a shared house with 3 separate room rentals. The owner, David lives on the property and will be your host.
Please contact us with your ETA prior to arrival. This helps us get everything ready for your arrival and stay. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in, so please bring those items along with $100 in cash for the refundable damage deposit. Check-in is from 12:00 PM. Check-out is until 11 AM.
Guests must be vaccinated. Masks are optional but recommended. Social distance is required. We disinfect all surfaces and hand sanitizer by the door is for your use.
The Wildernest is in a great area to see and do all kinds of things year round. Music and entertainment venues are varied and affordable. The Lowell Observatory, Snow Bowl, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Lava Caves, and not to mention endless biking and hiking trails. The area is also near fishing, hunting, and skiing. The temperature in Flagstaff is much cooler than the rest of Arizona, so outdoor activities are plentiful and enjoyable.
Nearby to Peaks Wildernest is a local tavern, convenience/gas stations, and a restaurant within 3 miles. A Safeway shopping mall and I-40 are within 5 miles and the Old Town Shops and restaurants in the center of Flagstaff are just 10 miles away! Northern Arizona University (NAU) and a hospital are a 15-20-minute drive while the fire station is minutes away. There is USFS up the mountain about a ¼-mile at the end of our road.
We offer free parking and free WiFi to all of our guests. There is also a shared kitchen and living area. A ROKU streaming TV is in each bedroom and there is a patio to grill and chill. All room rental guests have access to laundry machines as well.
All of our room rentals are smoke-free. Smoking is allowed outside only.
Room rental guests can enjoy a continental or à la carte breakfast for $5/guest. Breakfast is either prepared by your host or yourselves.
Some guests may be asleep so please be quiet when you get up early or arrive late.
